RAY HARRYHAUSEN PRESENTS: Wrath of the
Titans:
ISBN: 978-0-9792751-9-7
What defines a hero? Is it the vanquishing of monsters and madmen?
Or is it something more? It has been five years since the legendary
Perseus defeated the evil Gorgon Medusa, killed the Kraken and
assumed the crown of Argos. Things seemed idyllic
throughout the kingdom and the news of an heir put the citizens
in a celebratory mood.Yet lurking in the shadows is the one
being in Argos simmering with hate and discontent. And as gods
and enemies alike conspire to destroy him, Perseus faces his
greatest test ever...what does it mean to be a hero. Inspired
by the classic Ray Harryhausen movie Clash of the Titans, is
the heralded continuation of the story. Now presented for the
first time in its entirety as a 96-page graphic novel, Wrath
of the Titans delivers everything a proper Greek Drama demands:
a hero, a cause, secret pacts, divine meddling and revenge,
insurmountable challenges, dangerous creatures and non-stop
adventure.
RAY HARRYHAUSEN PRESENTS: 20 Million
MIles More: ISBN: 978-0-9792751-8-0
It's the classic Ray Harryhausen sci-fi epic
re-imagined for a new generation. It's been 50 years since the
strange being from Venus rampaged through Italy. So it has been
50 years of secrets, misinformation, and outright lying. Once
the world was convinced that the Ymir was a giant hoax and the
mission to Venus never happened, it was lulled back to sleep,
ignorant of the truth. But no one
counted on genetics. Years of secret testing and breakthroughs
in many of the gray areas of science created unintended consequences
that could bring the Earth to its knees... and only an 11-year-old
child can save it. 20 Million Miles More, presented for the
first time in its entirety as a 96-page graphic novel, is both
a sweeping epic and the personal saga of the Calder family.
Lost Raven : ISBN: 978-0-9792751-0-4
After learning that he has contracted the HIV
virus, attorney Zak Raven leaves his practice behind to set
forth on a mission of relaxation – until his peaceful
trip goes wildly astray, leaving Zak shipwrecked on what he
thinks is a deserted island with only the words in his own journal
to keep him company. Unknown to Zak, four miles below the surface
secretly hides a government experimentation
center where scientists are playing God by trying to artificially
evolve a human based species that can survive evacuation missions
in deep space. Within 900 years, earth will be dealt a deathblow
by a mountain-size asteroid. However, so far they have only
achieved creating living abominations. Zak and these creatures
are on a collision course, and he must rise to the challenge!
Part of the proceeds from the sale of this book will go to the
Evergreen AIDS Foundation.
"It has always been part of the business
plan to get into trade paperbacks. The 1st year of publishing
was to get a library of titles so we can put them into trades,"
says Bluewater publisher Darren G. Davis "the production
value we are putting into them is going to be amazing. We will
also offer a lot of extras in the trade paperbacks that were
not available in the comics".
Bluewater will also produce original graphic novels as well
as the trade paperbacks.
