Bluewater Productions is a small press publisher with big ideas and a sound structure for future growth. We are very selective in the new projects we take on, and in the talent we hire to work on those projects. If you believe your work is of the same quality as Bluewater Productions published material, and you'd like to work for Bluewater Productions, read on.

We strongly suggest that you have read several of Bluewater's many releases before you submit to the company. Our comics are all over the spectrum. The one quality we are proud of is the polished look of our titles.

Writers

Pencilers
The best way to get your artwork seen is to submit samples to this e-mail address: darren@bluewatercomics.com. We recommend that you send a variety of work, from pencils to inked work to finished, colored pieces. Most importantly, if you're looking for work as an interior artist, submit samples that show sequential storytelling, not just pinups. Anyone can produce a good pinup, if given enough time, but we need to see pages you produce under deadline, that show your ability to handle storytelling, facial expressions, and anatomy, as well as an understanding of shadows and light. We are always looks for a variety of styles.

Iinkers
Send clean, clear black and white files (never originals) of at least five inked pages, along with samples of the pencils you have chosen to ink. The pencils should be from different pencilers. These samples should not be lettered or colored.

Colorists
Send clean, clear color scans (never originals) or printouts from a good color printer of at least five colored pages. If we want to see higher resolution work we may ask you to e-mail pages or show a web portfolio, but do not send unsolicited e-mail's with hi-res enclosures, which will be deleted unopened. These pages should not be lettered.

Painters
